9a. Chatbot (automated information)
We use a chatbot on our website to automatically answer general questions about our services, prices and processes.
Using the chatbot is voluntary. When you use it, the content you enter is processed to create the response and is not stored after the conversation ends.
The chatbot processes your input primarily to answer your request. Depending on our configuration, an AI service provided by OpenAI (OpenAI API) may be used. In that case, the text you enter (prompt) and the responses generated by the system are transmitted to and processed by OpenAI. No further disclosure to other third parties takes place.
Recipient / service provider (processor): OpenAI. For data from the EEA or Switzerland, processing is carried out via OpenAI Ireland Limited. Where processing takes place outside the EEA or Switzerland, the transfer is based on appropriate safeguards (in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) or an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
When using the OpenAI API, content may be stored in abuse monitoring logs for up to 30 days and then deleted, unless legal retention obligations require longer storage.
Data transmitted via the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models unless we explicitly enable this.
Please do not enter sensitive personal data (e.g. health data) via the chatbot.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient and user-friendly customer communication). If your request is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies.
